Cloud Chaser
Since we’ve moved to Weston where there are no tall buildings and the terrain is hilly, I’ve enjoyed the daily “cloud” shows. Almost every time I walk outside in the yard with the dogs, there is some kind of cloud display that is more amazing than the last cloud display. A long time ago, some friend or therapist or minister said that when one is troubled, just look “out”! In other words, look at the world around you! This is good advice for an artist or anyone who spends time thinking too much about all the “stuff” that needs to be done with work and chores etc. etc.
So, I’ve finally had time to just paint what I enjoy from day to day. It feels good to just paint freely for the sake of painting. It is hard to get very far from story telling….but I think I’ve kept that to a minimum.
