I’ve been attempting a small drawing of the garden every day this spring…And, this is my first small painting (acrylic on canvas) that I’m pretty sure I’ve finished!
Winter Games at Home
I started this painting idea early last week…and painting the scrabble game became just as difficult as playing the scrabble game…but, just in time for warmer weather, I think I’ve completed this. I’ve been looking at an art book I have about Milton Avery….so, this painting was an attempt to use his “style”…needless to say, he was a great painter defining life in seemingly simple shapes. Bored? look him up sometime.
Waiting for spring
This cold and snowy winter has given me an opportunity to really work on some paintings for a show this summer. This painting is just the beginning of the work and will be titled Winter’s Puzzle. Enjoy
